All in all a great night, everyone had fun, everyone got drunk, everyone danced, and danced all night, and all the DJs (Leigh, Justin and Simon) played great sets, with an emphasis on old Lost City anthems from nights gone by. Love Story (Layo and Bushwacka!), David (Gus Gus), Dont You Want Me (Felix) and the Nirvana/REM bootlegs mixed with the new - Push Up by the Freestylers and Stupid Disco by Junior Jack both got aired twice, in varying mixes, as well as Basement Jaxx's funky remix of NERD She Wants To Move.
But its not all about the DJs. What made this the best night so far was the all-round party atmosphere, was it the balloons? Or the fact that there were still people dancing when we were asked to pack up? Or the birthday celebrations? Thanks must go to the people who didnt know the promoters and came and enjoyed and stayed.
We hope to be back at SUb Logic in Autumn, depending on what happens to the management there, but in the mean time, check out the rest of the website for info on the parties we are throwing all over summer!
